SUMMARY

  • this week was good, I watched vidoes about hooktheory which helped me learn more about it. I also watched the guitar lesson videos which help me.

PRACTICE ROOM (GUITAR LESSONS)

  • don’t take yourself so serious
  • what you do with your emotions defines the character of a person
  • you’re not gonna find the holy grail memorizing every mode and jazz skill, you wanna play music not scales
  • ultimately the goal is to make good music that people enjoy; that touches you or other people
  • dive in; be fearless
  • keep practicing what you’re doing, you’ll get better
