Who is one of your mentors?

Kobe Bryant is ony of my mentors. He was born on August 23, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pensylvannia and lived in Italy from when he was six to age thirteen.

Personal Success Definition

What it means to be successful to me is following your dream while achieving happiness.

Kobe bryant was successul because he was following his dream by playing basketball. He was a famous NBA star who played for the Lakers. Kobe was drafted out of high school and won multiple MVP awards. He also had a family; he had a wife and four daughters.

Skills for Success

Kobe Bryant is 1) an involved husband and father, 2) a pro NBA player, and 3) a rolemodel to children all over the world. Kobe had a wife named vanesssa and 4 daughters, he coached his daughter, Gigi’s, basketball team called Black Mamba. Kobe bryant was drafted out of high school and was one of the youngest players to start in an NBA game; kobe still holds that record. He broke many other basketball records along the way to multiple NBA championships, such as scoring the most points, most freethrows, and the most turnovers out of every guard in the NBA history. He was also a huge rolemodel and had a huge impact on young basketball players and just people in general. He started and supported many charities. On the side of his basketball career, he was a successful entrepreneur and co-owned a billion dollar inevestment company which he worked on everyday.

How They Used These Skills

Kobe utilized one on one situations leading the league in multiple championships. He won NBA MVP’s, league MVP’s, and NBA championships MVP. He won many awards with his skills over the course of his career before his sudden death in January 2020. Since Kobe was a millionaire, he used his money to start and support many charities to help people.

Challenges OvercomeDescribe what challenges they had to overcome to be successful?

Since Kobe was a basketball player, he got many injuries. In the late 2012-13 season he ruptured his Achilles Tendon. In that game he still shot his two free throws even though he knew he had torn his tendon. He also had to overcome the challenges of the competition in the NBA. He was also a coach to his daughter’s basketball team on the side.
